The Province TVET Profile 2025, prepared by the Ministry of Social Development in collaboration with the QualiTY Project and Swisscontact, outlines the development of the Provincial TVET Strategy, aiming to create a comprehensive and evidence-based framework that aligns technical and vocational education with the socio-economic needs of each province. This involved systematically organizing relevant data from educational institutions, industries, employers, and other stakeholders; identifying the current and projected demand for skilled human resources; and assessing the operational status and future requirements of local industries. Additionally, the strategy aims to evaluate the capacity of existing TVET institutions, examine the level of collaboration among the government, private sector, and civil society, and emphasize the importance of lifelong learning within TVET programs. A critical component also includes identifying the key challenges and systemic barriers facing the TVET sector in each province to inform targeted interventions and policy reforms that promote inclusive, demand-driven, and sustainable skill development.
