Education for Youth: Youth for Peace and Development’ Project (ODW) project was designed focusing on peace building, conflict mitigation, rehabilitation, protection, and in creating opportunities for education, employment, and income generation for youth. Save the Children (SC) implemented the five-year (2007-11) ODW project through its partner organizations in 20 districts mostly in the Midwestern Development Region of Nepal and covering all five districts of Karnali zone. Altogether 14 non-government organizations were mobilized to implement the ODW project and its activities in Nepal. In addition to review of policy documents, consultations were held with more than 200 research participants/beneficiaries from the project area during the project evaluation.
