The main objectives of this task were to collect baseline information on early grade literacy and math’s competencies of the students and to explore the opinion and perceptions of the relevant stakeholders on improving the learning outcomes of local marginalized groups including the obstacles for improving learning outcomes. For the purpose 360 students were assessed in Jajarkot and Jumla districts along with two dozen FGD and KII with stakeholders.
